Hampton Bays New York Engagement Session

Oh New York, you crazy dream town always inspiring my wild side while spinning me into little bouts of stress and joy. It had been too long since I had spent some good quality time with the town that had such a major influence on my little boote shaped soul growing up. My mom would take my sister and I there just about every week when I was in high school. I had spent my teenage years working & playing in Manhattan. My mom had this way of making us feel like we belonged at Bergdorfs, but our shopping bags were certainly from Conways, Daffys & Bloomingdales. We would eat at Carmines and sometimes, if we booked a gig we would celebrate at Serendipity with over-sized bowls of ice cream. However, I had never had the opportunity to venture past the city into the cute beach towns east of Long Island, in Hampton Bays. It was my first time meeting Sammy & Tim. We had only corresponded online when Sammy had reached out to book me for their upcoming July wedding. The drive was tough, super rainy, and a bit longer than what I am used to when heading to the city but every mile was so totally worth it. Sammy was a trooper because it was COLD and she braved the windy shoreline, and chilly gusts to end up with some adorable, windswept, beach-side engagement photos. We literally just ran around and played in the sand - walked along the shoreline, got to know about each other and had a really adorable, fun, and sweet time. Afterwards, I spent the night the city at the super adorable and lavish Mark Hotel - It was a dream and because of great timing and a little luck, I was fortunate enough to spend the night in such a gorgeous hotel nestled in the Upper East Side neighborhood of New York City. Enjoy the photos! I feel like it is pretty evident that these photos show just how much fun we had. Absolutely cannot wait to celebrate with these guys!
